DIGID Journal Club: : 'Food Insecurity Negatively Impacts Gluten Avoidance and Nutritional Intake in

Join us on December 1st for the next DIGID Journal Club: 'Food Insecurity Negatively Impacts Gluten Avoidance and Nutritional Intake in Patients with Celiac Disease’ by Ma et al. We plan to bring awareness to this particular public health challenge by reviewing the article followed by a thoughtful discussion. Given that celiac disease’s only treatment is diet-based therapy, food insecurity in this population is particularly concerning. Therefore, we aim to provide dietitians with more information as to how they can help their patients gain broader access to gluten free food.
